Hello! I’m Katrina Francisco, a Communication Designer and Illustrator based in Berlin.

What I Do.

I combine research and insight into client needs to craft communication design that solves problems and tells meaningful stories. I thrive on collaboration and creating work with purpose, helping brands turn their creative ideas into impactful experiences.

  • I love shaping stories into visuals that feel authentic and memorable. For me, branding goes beyond logos as it’s about building a visual language that connects with people and gives meaning to every detail.

  • Whether it’s a social media post, a print publication, or a campaign, I enjoy creating designs that communicate clearly and leave a lasting impression. I pay attention to balance, composition, and the small details that make each piece thoughtfully crafted.

  • I’m currently exploring how design shapes human interaction and influences culture. Through a communication design lens, I approach interfaces as more than just functional systems, they’re spaces for connection, empathy, and storytelling. My interest lies in creating experiences that feel intuitive, meaningful, and human.

  • Illustration has always been my first love, and it continues to inspire my work in communication design. I illustrate so I can translate ideas into visuals that resonate emotionally, turning concepts into stories people can truly connect with.

  • Photography is currently my personal artistic practice. It’s my way to explore light, mood, and storytelling outside of communication design. I love capturing moments that feel genuine and moving, and I enjoy connecting this practice to my design work whenever the project calls for it.
